 Despite rapid technological and economic advancements, profound disparities persist in access to life-sustaining resources, such as nutritious food, quality healthcare, and clean energy, across underserved and marginalized communities. These resource deserts are rarely accidental; they are the result of compounding systemic barriers, historical disinvestment, and infrastructural gaps. This study examines actionable, cross-sector strategies.

讲座人简介：

 Wenqing Zhang教授现任明尼苏达大学杜鲁斯分校（UMD）拉博维茨色情导航 （LSBE）运营与供应链管理教授，并兼任市场营销系主任。他同时担任环境研究所（IonE）学者、首届 Kjell R. Knudsen教席学者，以及拉博维茨领导力学院的协调人。其研究核心在于利用规范性分析与运筹学解决现实世界中的复杂挑战。他通过算法设计、机器学习、博弈论模型及系统仿真，重点关注负责任的运营与供应链管理、改善弱势/服务欠缺社区获取核心资源的途径、收益管理与服务运营等领域。Wenqing Zhang教授目前及曾任美国印第安社区住房组织（AICHO）、明尼苏达原住民商业联盟以及 True North Goodwill的董事会成员。
